Hello, my name’s Michael Studer, I practiced, Acupuncture, Massage, and dispensed Herbs in downtown Minneapolis, Minnesota for almost 20 years.
Having retired in January 2020, I realized I had acquired a useful collection of books over my four decades of education and practice. I now would like to pass my texts and reference books to future practitioners who are beginning their Chinese Medicine careers.
Searching to return my books into circulation, I was amazed by the price book buyers pay when buying them back. For example, they offer $1.39 and sell it used for a price of $45.00. Furthermore, I am appalled at the price new acupuncture and herb books cost these days.
Which brings us to why I’m offering my books for sale.
I am:
- reaching out to students and practitioners who need and will use the wisdom and knowledge of these books in their future work;
- offering them at reasonable and affordable prices; and
- allowing me to recover some of my original investment.
Therefore, hoping for all to benefit from this endeavor, I am asking if you would inform your students and staff of the availability of my books by passing along or posting this message to them. I’m sure they would be pleased to know there are books available that offer substantial cost savings over other sources of purchase.
I thank you for your time and energy in reading this message.
Peace, Michael Studer, L. Ac.
